We offer a big range of customer optimized unshape products that are used in various technological processes .

Air setting and heat setting cements, dry and ready-for-use, mastics, patches, mortars, coating and acid-resistant products for the following applications: To joint refractory bricks, to make a safety joint between two blocks, to patch refractory lining, to coat refractory lining, to glue fibers and anti-acid jointing. We deliver our cement in pasty or powder presentations. We offer a big range of air setting refractory cement, heat setting refractory cement, fluid glue, mortar and mastic in plastic or metal cans for pasty products and paper bags for powder.

The technical requirements for a reliable opening of ladle sliding gate systems is realized furthermore by the application of our products, based on chromite or zirconia sands. Our standard wellfiller has a Cr ₂O ₃ content above 30% and guarantees a safe and high opening operation. This product can be used as well as nozzle filler in the tundish.

Over the last years the customer request for high quality casting powder was growing and we offer a huge range of granulated and powder casting flux. The modern casting flux has to achieve the requirements of each specific caster and steel quality for thermal isolation, absorption and dissolution of non-metallic inclusions, lubrication in the mold, homogenize and optimize the heat transfer. Especially by peritectic steel grade the homogenic heat transfer is necessary to obtain a well-balanced cooling and solidification of steel for preventing the formation of cracks.

According to the requirements of customers, Sheffield offers a big range of carbon free casting fluxes for ULC-/INOX-steels, casting fluxes for peritectic and micro-alloyed steels, casting fluxes for thin slab casting, casting flux for decreasing the corrosion of metallic constructions of continuous casting machine.

Graphite Coating is a sprayable, mobile aqueous suspension which forms a high temperature dry film refractory brick lubricating sealant. It is applied to the cement mortar joint faces of ladle nozzles, collector nozzles & well block bores. It reduces surface wear and increases the performance of the refractory products. Our Graphite coating is fume- free and non- toxic.
