Ladle Shroud

Ladle Shrouds, with a standard oxidation protection liner at the CNT area, are designed to function without pre-heating.

This cold-start functionality is guaranteed by a special anti-spalling liner. If needed, then slag-line protection can be provided. There is a range of main body material choice depending on the steel composition and desired length of casting sequence. Nitrogen pick-up can be reduced by argon protection, which is provided by different systems including the DAI version.

Drizzle Argon Injection (DAI)
Ladle
Shroud

A new technology for argon injection into the connection between Collector Nozzle and Ladle Shroud makes it possible to effectively prevent the secondary oxidation of the metal  from the steel ladle to the tundish. The large area of the gas supply surface in our DAI Ladle Shroud allows shielding the metal from environmental influences even in case of Ladle Shroud installation misalignment.

Monoblock Stopper

Monobloc Stoppers have an optimum mechanical strength and resistance to erosion.

There is a choice of stopper tip material and design to ensure best performance.

Slag-line erosion protection is also available. Argon injection can be done, and can be customized to any specific demand by using argon metering plugs and DAI technology.

Drizzle Argon Injection (DAI)
Monoblock Stopper

Argon injection through the porous material (Drizzle Argon Injection) of the Stopper head makes it possible to form a dense flow of fine gas bubbles. Such flow has a larger interaction surface, increases the probability of non-metallic inclusions removing from the melt. This new technology feature prevents refractories clogging.

Subentry Shroud and Subentry Nozzle

Subentry Shrouds and Nozzles have different slag line and seating materials customized to any steel grade and casting speed.

There is a choice of liner material for the internal bore, all aimed to reduce alumina build-up. A range of coatings are available to preserve refractories during preheating stage and casting.

Tundish Nozzle

Tundish Nozzle is installed in a tundish bottom, ensures the  steel outflow and the formation of a compact flow.

There is a choice of liner material for the internal bore, all aimed to reduce alumina build-up. A range of coatings are available to preserve refractories during the preheating stage and casting.

Tubechanger Shroud and Nozzle

The Tubechange Shroud and Nozzle can be made from the same composite materials as tundish shrouds and nozzles. The hard and high erosion  sliding surface of TSN and TCS provides a perfect sealing and lubrication.

When long casting sequences are required an optimum flow control, the tubechange refractories are the best choice. Fitted into a tubechange mechanism, they will extend the life of the Tundish considerably. The tubechange Shroud and Nozzle can be made from the same composite materials as Tundish Shrouds and Nozzles.

Drizzle Argon Injection (DAI)
Tubechanger Nozzle and Shroud

The design of DAI Tubechanger Nozzle is argon supplying through the porous material of the casting bore. DAI technology significantly decreases Tubechanger Nozzlle clogging . At the same time, the bottom of the porous part of the bore is in contact with the upper plate of the Tubechanger Shroud and additionaly sucure from secondary oxidation and nitrogen pick up.

Freefall Nozzles

We offer a big range of different Freefall Nozzles shapes and diameters with high performing zircon insert of 95% ZrO 2. Our special developed body mix with low thermal expansion, high cold crushing strength and excellent graphite coated surface, guarantee a safe high performance of our nozzles.
